It’s so hard to say who the Chamran is; I think I can never tell you a good description which helps you to know something about the Chamran.
Today is anniversary of him, today is anniversary of the great martyr who struggle to freedom, justice and the Human’s greatness.
The great martyr Mustafa Chamran was born in 1932 in Tehran in one of the poorest family in Tehran. His father was hosiery and he worked hard to gain legitimate daily bread. Chamran was in crowded family and he always honored about his family because his father taught him gaining a clean sustenance (however if be very little) is a holy war (jihad) for Allah.
I may believe for describing of him, it’s enough to narrate a story about his childhood:
It was winter Morning. The earth was covered with snow and weather is so cold which the water iced very quickly. A Child came out of a very small home and he continued his way into his school on the snow. He wore very cheap cloths with a warm jacket that only the jacket made him warm on the cold snowing day. On the way he was seeing a poor beggar who had not got a very good cloth and he shacked because of the snow. When he was seeing that beggar he thought carefully about him after that he went to the back of the beggar slowly and took off the jacket and granted it to him! And he went away very quickly; And he said” I must perceive people who is poorer than me I must know about them; Both of us are created by the Allah…” and he continued his way without jacket
He caught a hard cold because of that But he was never be regretful for that!
At age 15, he began his activities with Islamic associations, participating in classes of interpretation of the Holy Qu’ran instructed by late the great Ayatollah Taleqani and those of logic and philosophy by martyr Morteza Motahhari.
He was so clever and so wise because of that he accepted in the Alborz high school (the best high school in Tehran) And after that he went to Tehran university in Mechanical engineering (I think my field is only similitude between me and him!) which he was best in there, he was great so much that he gave 22 marks from 20 marks from Dr Mahdi Bazargan the great professor of Thermodynamics!
He obtained a government scholarship; he went to the United States for a period of 14 years and earned his master’s degree from the University of Texas. He then proceeded to get his Ph.D. in electronics and plasma physics with honors from the University of California at Berkeley. He was then hired as a senior research staff scientist at Bell Laboratories and NASA"s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Chamran became politically active, and became a leading and founding member of the Islamic revolutionary movement in the Middle East, organizing and training guerrillas and revolutionary forces in Algeria, Egypt, Syria, and especially southern Lebanon,
I think it’s enough to say that in the southern of a Lebanon he managed a high school of the poorest of the people who lived there and the Great ayatollah “Seyyed Hasan Nasrollah” was a student in there!
And after Islamic revolution in Iran he came back. He was appointed commander of Iran"s Pasdaran, as well as Iran"s Minister of Defense, personal military aide to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, and the latter"s representative to the Supreme Council of Defense.
And at last he was martyred t by Saddam’s Army on 21 June , 1981 in Dehlavieh (A place from south of Iran)
Remember, it’s not a complete description about him. I can’t describe him at all. And I love him so much…
